Sample Itinerary
Day 1
Will cover materials sourcing and roughing out a bow stave ,
and time permitting basic tillering.
That night we bivvy overnight under tarp
shelters. You will experience a night around your own campfire
amongst friends and enthusiasts alike with the sights and sounds
of the woods around you. This will be the opportunity to learn
some mystical Bushcraft, including firelighting skills, cooking
over an open fire, etc
Day 2
The following morning after a hearty breakfast we will
continue with the course refining and tillering the bow, making
the string and time allowing material sourcing and making basic
arrows.
The course is aimed at the archery novice as the
bows will generally be based on stone age / early medieval bows
and equipment.*
The courses are conducted at a relaxed pace in a
friendly atmosphere and will be tailored to the requirements of
the group where ever possible.
No previous experience is needed and general
bushcrafting and an appreciation of nature is included in the
weekend.
*Note this is not a course for making yew war
bows as there is not enough time for bows of that magnitude.

Dinner Day 1
Fresh Sardines followed by Rabbit / Chicken Stew (veggie options
available) and Cake & Custard for Pudding
Breakfast Day 2
Usually Cereals, OJ, Eggs, Bacon and Sausage Rolls
Lunch Day 2
Bread rolls with a selection of fillings / spreads - Crisps -
Fruit - Choccy biscuit - Squash / Juice - Tea / Coffee
