Guided Sea
Kayaking on the North Norfolk Coast

Take a kayak or canoe tour and explore the
beauty and wildlife of the North Norfolk Coast creeks

| Brancaster, Cley and Blakeney are renowned
areas of natural beauty as well as being havens for many
thousands of native and migratory birds.
The mud flats of the North Norfolk creeks teem
with bird life from Curlews to Egrets, Sandpipers to Ring
Plovers. Until now the only way to see the wildlife of the
mudflats has been from a hide several hundred yards away, but
now you can get really close by exploring the creeks in a
kayak or canoe. You will be guided by a fully qualified
Kayak/Canoe Coach who will point out the amazing array of
Flora and Fauna to be found on the marshes.
The trips leave from Brancaster Staithe and
wind their way through the network of narrow channels. Each
trail will last approximately three hours including safety
briefing. Groups will be six to eight maximum. Single and
double kayaks are available. |
|
| These trips are suited to
those who have had some kayaking experience in the past –
although if it was a long time ago that you last sat in a
kayak you may want to book the refresher session that runs
for an hour prior to the trail.
Please note: In order for everybody in the group to
have an enjoyable experience we require you to have a
basic level of competence in a kayak – if in doubt please
either speak to us or book on the refresher session.
Weather: This can be very
changeable and in order to ensure your safety and
enjoyment these trips maybe subject to last minute change
or cancellation. |

Transport is available from
the Paddles & Pedals Adventure Store
beside the bridge in Wroxham
for a small additional charge.
